I. Product Introduction
The PET Composite Insulating Barrier Board is a rigid insulating material made by laminating and pressing two or more layers of electrical-grade polyester film with a special heat-resistant adhesive. It relies entirely on the composite structure of multiple PET film layers to provide the required mechanical strength and electrical insulation performance.
The product features a smooth and dense surface, is specifically designed for dry-type transformers and is particularly suitable for use as the main insulation between high-voltage and low-voltage coils. It is also widely used in the insulation of high-voltage electrical apparatus and motor windings.

Electrical & mechanical performance: Combines excellent electrical insulation with high mechanical strength; effectively withstands winding stress and resists breakage.
Dimensional stability: Excellent dimensional stability with extremely low longitudinal and transverse shrinkage at 150°C.
Moisture resistance: Non-hygroscopic, and adapts well to various climatic conditions.
Thermal class: Class F, ensuring long-term operational safety and reliability.
III. Applications
Main Insulation for Dry-Type Transformers: Placed between the high-voltage and low-voltage coils, serving as the main insulating cylinder or barrier.
Inter-Turn and Spacer Insulation for Coils: Used as inter-turn insulation or end spacer insulation during the coil winding process.
Motors and High-Voltage Electrical Apparatus: Suitable for motor stator windings, high-voltage electrical equipment, and other insulation structures requiring high electrical strength.
Furthermore, this product is often used as a replacement for traditional epoxy resin boards or composite barriers containing non-woven fabrics, particularly in applications demanding high insulation strength and where material moisture absorption is undesirable.
