DMD Epoxy Prepreg
I. Product Introduction
DMD Epoxy Prepreg is a flexible insulation material with a sandwich structure: a middle layer of polyester film for electrical strength and tear resistance, surrounded by two layers of polyester non-woven fabric for flexibility and resin absorption. Impregnated with epoxy resin and baked to a semi-cured (B-stage) state, it maintains good resin flowability and low volatility during high-temperature curing, forming a durable structure that provides both mechanical protection and electrical insulation.
II. Performance
Electrical Insulation: Breakdown voltage ≥7kV (0.15mm), high dielectric strength.
Mechanical Strength: Tensile strength ≥70N/10mm, strong adhesion and tear-resistant.
Processability: Tight bonding with copper/aluminum foil after curing, low volatiles, low shrinkage.
Heat Resistance: Class F (155°C), long-term high-temperature performance.
III. Application
Dry-Type Transformers: Layer insulation of low-voltage foil-wound coils, end insulation, and gasket insulation between the coil and the core
Power Transformers: Coil insulation structure, lead wire insulation wrapping, and turn-to-turn insulation
Reactors: Layer insulation of coils, winding fixing and isolation
Special Transformers: Mining transformers, rectifier transformers, traction transformers, and wind power transformers
Class F Motors: Slot insulation (isolating windings from the core), turn-to-turn insulation, and phase-to-phase insulation
