The I-beam brace is a profile produced by pultrusion process using alkali-free glass fiber impregnated with thermosetting resin. It has the advantages of high mechanical strength, excellent electrical properties, flame retardancy, corrosion resistance, and arc resistance. Mainly used for interlayer ventilation cooling of dry-type transformers and use on reactors and wave arresters.
